Success is counted sweetest: This poem is positive, excited, and indignant. It tells both sides of getting success. It appreciates success and its process whether how does it describe the pain. She is on both views of winner and loser to the definition of success but she converts both ideas to one direction which is that successes are sweet after everyone suffers from them. I drew the forest’s scene which basically is dark colored, dark sky, dark trees, and a dark path. The advantage of it is setting a wide view that we can easily put many characters on the stage together, even though the effect of the endless and dangerous forest is weakened. Since it’s a fairytale like story, I would like to have a Witcher style music to decorate the atmosphere and the feeling of mystery for the forest and the death. They are look alike chased by dangers. The weak light is always spotted on main characters, when the death comes from the darkness. At that time Music suddenly turns to another tone.

Compared to the poor Desiree, the crowded, fancy, wedding with a great number of people who have much fun is the stage for Desiree. In the book, besides main characters, the author still gives many details to describe how fancy is the wedding by descriptions of faculties, foods, buildings, and music. I believe a big proportion of readers likely ignores these details, because they potentially know something big happening soon, whether it is a happy or bad ending. Mathilde is not satisfied with Daniel's decision, but she could not limited things. Even though Mathilde has tried to comfort her, her mind has never changed by everything outside. Desiree can't stay at Daniel's room anymore. In these days, Desiree almost stops doing anything. The only thing she does is waiting for any action from Daniel. With Daniel, Desiree has the best sleep of all these days. Gods instinct of Desiree leads her to stay there longer. Mathilde is afraid of obeying Daniel's request that he wants to let Desiree stay here for longer. Even though Daniel is confident to deal this thing with his father, but his father was angry until Mathilde explained how Daniel needs Desiree to stay with him. Mathilde does feel that Daniel gets better since the day when he meets Desiree. In the following days and nights, Desiree pays all of her attention on Daniel. She literary does everything for Daniel. Along with the complete care of Desiree, Daniel becomes better and Desiree becomes weaker than before. She pushed a wilderness of herbs, of bush to thicken the underbrush, keeping the trees forever green, forever productive." introduces the property of Asaka. She is probably favored by peasants, since her functions are related to the natural enviornment which is most valued by peasants because of their agricultural industry. From the passage, I know that Asaka always smiles according to peasants' impression for her. As a goddess of life, I expect her to be a buxom lady and always smiling and laughing so that people have a favorable impression for her at first sight. She sounds like a mature woman with a rough tone or voice. She should always take one's fancy and she acts more like a mother on the stage. A woman in Grillot wants to give Desiree foods, but she actually was testing her determination. In this long journey, Desiree has seen the sea but her dangerous experiences affected her moods. She felt not comfortable and was not familiar with the huge different enviornment. Plants jumped back to life. Peasants go back to work. The idea of leaving comes up to Desiree's mind. Desiree went to M. Bienconnu to find details and clues whom talks about Armand's stories including his family and how did he become rich. Tonton Julian warned Desiree about the degree of danger in this journey of finding Daniel. Mama E saw her ease way, grabbing her husband and stopping to talk about this topic. Desiree’s specialitiy as an outsider can be highlighted by the other peasants. If I want to choose a color of her dress, I would definitely choose green as her theme color. Green represents freedom, natural, and life. Compared to peasants who have lived in pressure for a long time, Desiree must looks alive. Desiree does things without too much hesitation. She respects gods, fear gods, but she never gives up to improve herself and her surroundings day and day. Also, her dress is very simple without too many decorations. Peasants mostly dress in brown color in order to attach with the idea that peasants work really hard and their dresses are damaged by dusts. Peasants wear cloth shoes that reflect their poverty and cloth shoes’ performance on labor jobs. Compared to peasants, Desiree wears a pair of black leather shoes.
