1.23 update
From the day since I joined Nia's group, I have been working on modifying, adding lines to my character and have tried to learn the theme and the function of my character. When I added lines, I decided to combine the character "son" in night woman with the "son" from the other story. To portray how do tragedies affect children's lives, both stories expand their views on the theme of family. Admittedly, night woman and our performance focus mainly on a single mother's issues, but son in our performance has to make a conclusion to this story, so I want to bring this story to the level of the whole family. A poem from the other story which encourages people in chaos and the voice of the new generation of Haiti are both points that I express to audiences. I have collaborated with my group members for three weeks. I have accepted their voices on my character based on their recognition to the story originally created by them.
