First time when Shakespeare introduces him, Romeo starts with greetings to his cousin. Talking about recent experiences with his cousin, Romeo starts at asking about where does father go then exclaiming over about his love to Rosaline. Such as " Why then, O brawling love! O loving hate! O any thing, of nothing first create! O heavy lightness .”This character gives a feeling of a person who loafing around. One of the reason is that he is asking where is his dad, then he starts expressing his emotions to Rosaline. However, his conversation makes me feel that he is a positive person who has courage to face his love.  The first impression of me to him was strange, in my virtual imagination to this character, then I found that Romeo was not a person who had not honorable experiences. In my opinion, he lived in a relatively free life even though he is belonged to a big family. Moreover, I think Romeo is a passive person, between he and his cousin, it seems he is always listening and following the ideas of his cousin. At this point, Romeo gains my favor, because he seems is an innocent teenager with one idea that chasing after the love.

I was really impressed by the first time Juliet appeared, her mom called her to discuss something with her, but Juliet firstly responded that " What is your will?" . That seems to infer me Juliet always receive orders and commands from her mom. With a long talk between nurse and Lady Capulet, Juliet has nothing to say or interrupt the conversation to give any opinions to the event that coming to her. As I concerned, Juliet is an obident person, even if she would not agree with every conditions that is listed to her, she is still following the construction as best as she can. She is also a passive person as Romeo, they both have their own ideas to the future, they are both strong managed by their families. My first impression to Juliet was a really quiet and shy girl, her motivations in the play and conversations in the story are restricted by herself. It is obvious that she has a strict family education. Somehow, I don't like this character. The reason of that is she doesn't give me a positive feeling. When Nurse and Lady Capulet talk to her, her reactions are monotonous, I can't feel her personal characteristics while she is talking. Personally, I like Romeo better.
